Terms of Service
These terms cover work carried out by Snappy Techs at 428 Rideau Street, Ottawa, and through scheduled pickup, onsite visits and remote support.
Quotes and approval
Diagnosis is $59 and is credited to the repair if you proceed. No work beyond diagnosis starts until you approve a written quote. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes.
Warranty
Labour carries a 90-day workmanship warranty. Parts carry the manufacturer warranty supplied with them. The warranty does not cover new accidental damage, liquid damage or software changes made after the device is returned.
Data and backups
You are responsible for backing up your data before service. We take reasonable care, but we cannot guarantee recovery of data from failing storage.
Payment
Payment is due when the device is returned or the service is completed. We accept payment in person or through a named processor. We never request payment by gift card, wire transfer or cryptocurrency, and we will never email you asking for card details.
Appointments and uncollected devices
Please give 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a pickup or onsite visit. Devices left uncollected for more than 90 days after completion, following written notice, may be recycled or sold to recover costs.
