- Sometimes, and it depends entirely on what was spilled and how quickly power was removed. We assess it for $49 and give you honest odds before you spend on the repair.
- Does rice work?
- No. Rice does nothing for corrosion inside a sealed logic board and delays the only thing that helps — a proper teardown and clean.
- My MacBook worked after the spill, do I still need it looked at?
- Yes. Corrosion often takes days or weeks to kill a board. A clean now is much cheaper than a board repair later.
- Can you get my files off it if it cannot be repaired?
