Snappy Techs is a registered technology service business operating from 428 Rideau Street, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
When you book a repair, request a quote or contact us we collect your name, email address, phone number, postal code and a description of the issue. If you drop off a device we record its make, model and reported fault. We do not ask for passwords, banking details, credit card numbers, social insurance numbers or government IDs through this website. Payment, when due, is taken in person or through a named payment processor — never by email request.
How we use it
Only to schedule and deliver the service you asked for, to send booking confirmations and status updates, and to keep a service history for warranty claims. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it.
Cookies and third parties
The site uses a live chat widget (Crisp) and basic analytics to understand which pages are useful. These set cookies in your browser. We do not run advertising networks, pop-under windows, cryptocurrency scripts or download prompts of any kind.
Data on your devices
Technicians access customer data only as needed to complete the repair. We recommend backing up before service. Remote support sessions are started by you and can be ended by you at any time; we never initiate an unsolicited remote session and we will never phone you claiming your computer is infected.
Retention and your rights
Service records are kept for as long as needed for warranty and accounting purposes under Canadian law. You may request a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion by emailing techs@snappytechs.com or calling 613-606-8881.
