Common questions
- How much does a computer repair cost in Ottawa?
- Diagnosis is $59 and is credited toward the repair if you go ahead. Common jobs start from $149. You get a written quote before any work begins, and nothing proceeds without your approval.
- What if my computer cannot be fixed?
- You do not pay for the attempt. We will tell you plainly whether a repair is worth the money, and if replacing is the better decision we will say so.
- Can you come to me?
- Yes. We offer scheduled pickup and return delivery across the Ottawa area, onsite visits from $159, and secure remote support where the problem allows.
- Will I lose my files?
- Our default is to preserve your data. Where a repair carries any risk to files, we tell you before starting and back up first.
- Do you work on Macs?
- Yes — MacBook and iMac hardware, storage, battery and macOS work. We are an independent repair shop, not an Apple Authorised Service Provider.
- How long will it take?
- We give you an estimate after diagnosis rather than a promise before it. Most common repairs are returned within a few business days, subject to parts.
